Jewish Cake
1/4 butter
1 cup castor sugar
3 eggs
5 tab s Milk
2 teas cinnamon
1 cup seeded Raisins
nearly 2 cups SR flour
  bake 1 hour

Matzah Cake
1 cup meal
1 cup castor sugar
1 quarter pound of ground almonds
4 eggs

Beat yolks with sugar, then add whites which are beaten to froth.
Bake 1/2 hour

Matzos balls
grate suet and fry with onion
1egg
2 soaked matzos
little salt and meal
