MARTHA ANN DOSSETT  was born 21 August 1855 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. regno 10999, daughter of ROWLAND THOMAS DOSSETT and JOHANNA ANN DONLAN/DONELLAN. She married (1) GEORGE BUIST 20 June 1874 in The house of Mrs Bissett, High St, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. She married (2) HARRY CHILLINGWORTH Abt. 1891.

It would appear that George Buist's father was a 'Glass Merchant' and he owned a China and Glass Warehouse in Lyttleton, Christchurch, NZ in the 1870's and 1880's.  We need to consider the possibility that Martha Dossett met George Buist in Dunedin. Maybe George Buist was working for his father and went to Dunedin to see David Ottolangui/Langley on business, who was also a Glass and Crockery Dealer.  David Ottolangui was the husband of Agnes Dossett, Martha's sister. Martha and George went to live in Lyttleton.

PERCY EDWARD BUIST, born 1882. He married AGNES RUTGERS in 1904.
