According to Bevis Marks Synagogue records David arrived in London, England in 1776. We know little of David Ottolenghi's (Ottolangui) life or the reason for his arrival in England. However, we do know that on arrival, he would certainly have found a Jewish community with strong connections to his home town, a community with similar values and with a strong sense of ethnic and religious identity.

He made his home in London and by 1803 David was living in the east end of London in Petticoat Lane, having formerly lived in Woolpack Alley.

DAVID OTTOLENGHI was born in Livorno, Italy in 1734.  To see David's birth record click HERE.  He married UNKNOWN about 1762 in Livorno, Italy. David was the son of MENACHEM OTTOLENGHI and JUDICA DE VALLETRO.

ISRAEL OTTOLENGHI born in 1767 in Livorno, Italy.

BATSEBA OTTOLENGHI born in 1769 in Livorno, Italy.

SERENA OTTOLENGHI born in 1771 in Livorno, Italy.

ISRAEL OTTOLENGHI born in 1774 in Livorno, Italy and died in London, England. Israel married MIRIAM HALEVY on the 31 October 1792 in London, England, daughter of ABRAHAM ALEVY.  She died in November 1842 in London, England.

SARAH (SERENA) OTTOLENGHI born in 1776 in Livorno, Italy and died on the 10 December 1817 in London, England. She married (1) JUDAH ABENATAR on the 3 April 1795 at Bevis Marks Synagogue, London, England. She married (2) MORDECAI BARUH on the 23 February 1806 in London, England, son of MASLIAH BARUH. Mordecai was born in 1788 and died on the 24 December 1817 in London, England.
