ELISHA/ALEXANDER OTTOLANGUI, born about 1804 in Mile End, London, England and died in 1860 in London and was buried on the 9th July 1860 at the Novo Cemetery, London, England. He was also known as Alexander Langley. He married Bilha /Elizabeth Leb de Beer on the 31st August 1832 in London, England. She was born in Spitalfields, London, England and died in 1887 in London and was buried on the 27th Oct 1887 at the Novo Cemetery, London, England. Elizabeth was a widow at the time of her marriage to Alexander having been previously married to Emanuel Levy. The marriage entry 'Bilha Leb de Beer' means Elizabeth formally married to Levy and birth surname Beer.

'Leb' is sometimes an alternative for the surname Levy.

Alexander and Elizabeth Ottolangui had no children.

Child of BILHA/ELIZABETH BEER and EMANUEL LEVY:

Sarah Levy born about 1828 in London, England and died in 1891 in Bethnal Green, London, England. (Sept quarter - Abrahams Sarah – Age 64 - Bethnal Green - 1c 132).

She married HENRY ABRAHAMS on the 10th August 1843 at 20 Shepherd Street, Spitalfields, London, England in the faith of the New Synagogue, London, EnglandA possible but unproven death for Henry Abrahams is: (June quarter 1867: Abrahams Henry – Age 40 – Whitechapel – 1c 195)

Children of SARAH LEVY and HENRY ABRAHAMS:

John Abrahams born about 1842 in Spitalfields, London, England.

Unsure if John was the child of both Henry and Sarah. If he was Sarah would have been 13 or 14 years when she gave birth to him and he was born before they married. More research needed here. In the event that John is Sarah’s son here is an interesting general note from the Bevis Marks records, even though it appears the family were connected to the 'New Synagogue' according to Henry and Sarah's marriage certificate:

(A bride applying for permission to marry and being observed to be pregnant would be refused permission by the Mahamad, but could be married later after the birth by one of the minor functionaries and would be recorded as a spinster and living at the same place as her husband to be.  All documentation for the children would be recorded as if the couple were already married when in fact the actual marriage took place after the event.)

Further investigation is needed to find out if any of the other siblings used the name Ottolangui or Langley instead of their birth name of Abrahams.
